Wall St Remittance Man!
One of my favorite tweets, and yes, I am writing about Obama:
He shouted 'Yes we can' I’m no ordinary political man This before he won the vote Now it's all a misquote Our Wall St remittance man
Dear Grace, Can you imagine what he would have accomplished had he controlled both "houses" till now, A "Public Option in health care ;;a larger Stimulus.. that what he,s proposing now would likely be accomplished by now... etc. etc. P.S. More to come....ben.kolbert77@gmail.com
Thanks Ben. It's true, if Obama, with control of both houses of Congress when he was first elected, had advocated a public option (as Hillary did) or a larger stimulus (as Paul Krugman suggests) we might not be in this mess. And even if we were (and why not considering what Obama inherited from the Republicans) at least those on the left could support him wholeheartedly in the coming election and not reluctantly or not at all. Obama is a Wall Street remittance man and no better than the Republicans in currying favor with Wall Street and its tainted money (love the word "tainted.) And now they're leaving him in droves for Romney.
