From what I read today, Bloomberg plotted secretly at City Hall around midnight to remove the protestors in Zuccotti Park. This is Bloomberg's democracy! Apparently, the only news group he and the NYPD felt obligated to notify was FOX News Channel:
The NYPD issued a statement to FOX News Channel saying they were not making any arrests and "police are stationed at the park every night."To quote a friend. The police were created and exist to protect the 1%. The 99% are an after thought. If distraught parents living in Trump Tower were to call the police because a child of theirs was dangerous, it's highly unlikely that the child would wind up in the morgue. If the parents lived in Harlem, would the child have an equal (or any chance) of staying alive? I'd be glad to provide case histories if anyone thinks I exaggerate.
