Barack Capitulation Obama!

He does it every time. Whenever I come close to cutting some slack for Obama, he goes back to the same old-old. Now, he's capitulating on contraception and on Super Pac's. I suspect that in less than a week, we'll see Obama cancel the requirement that Catholic hospitals include contraception as a covered item in their health insurance package.  The poll I quoted earlier indicated that a majority of Catholics, with an emphasis on women, approve of the requirement.  In addition, those Catholics who supported Obama in the last election are the same ones who support the requirement. Yet, he's so afraid of losing a single vote that he gives up again, and again.

Further, although not as important, is that Obama is tone deaf.  Did he and his campaign not realize that this would be a huge issue for the Catholic bishops and that the bishops would then enlist the aid of their parishioners? Now if Obama backs down, he'll lose those like me who dislike him for giving in, and he'll also lose Catholic voters who won't forget his original stance. He's in the same position as the Komen Foundation--damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Perhaps he needs new advisers. Give me a call!
