Republicans are angry at Clint Eastwood, a life long Republican who, if we're to believe him (and I certainly do), has voted for Republicans since he cast his first presidential vote for Eisenhower. And why are they angry, because of the superbowl ad paid for by Chrysler and starring Clint Eastwood. The ad celebrates the turnaround in Detroit and suggests that better times are coming. As a number of analysts have pointed out, the ad is very similar to Reagan's "Morning in American," which Republicans love. The real horror of their reaction to the ad, is that they don't want better times to come if they come under a Democratic president, and far worse if they come under a black Democratic president. So, tell me again, Republican's hatred of Obama is because of his policies and not because he's African American. Really!
