“I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat, or a prostitute.” ― Rebecca West, The Young Rebecca: Writings, 1911-1917

Cory tries again!
Just watched Cory Booker on Rachel Maddow's show, jumping through hoops trying to rectify what he said on Meet the Press. My suggestion: in the future think before you speak. This one will haunt you for a while, perhaps even have long term repercussions. Don't expect an ambassadorship or a cabinet post when (I hope) Obama is reelected. Now, anyone who reads here will be thinking, "Grace, you never think before you speak." Actually, I do. But I'm not a politician with ambitions, just a woman of strong opinions.
