“I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat, or a prostitute.” ― Rebecca West, The Young Rebecca: Writings, 1911-1917

As Maine goes!
Really good news. Republicans tried to get rid of "Same Day Registration" for voters in Maine--a law which has permitted same day registration for forty years (a total of 2 incidents of voter fraud in 40 years). Republicans hate universal suffrage, in case you didn't know. Their reason for repealing the law--gays are using it to take over the state. The bill lost. Perhaps the nation is coming back. Let's hope that as Maine goes, so also goes the nation! Still waiting on Mississippi and the personhood vote. It's losing at the moment or as Charley Sheen would say, "we're winning."
