“I myself have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat, or a prostitute.” ― Rebecca West, The Young Rebecca: Writings, 1911-1917

No Jail Time, No Change!
An article in today's Sunday Review section of the Times points out that GlaxoSmith published falsified data in a medical journal, failed to report the dangers of a drug and used "favors," such as trips to Jamaica to get doctors to use its medications for unapproved--and unproven--purposes on children. None of its executives were jailed--it was fined, which no doubt it will pass on to us, its customers. No one was jailed in the banking crisis as well. Until we use the law to jail those who let greed destroy our country, nothing will ever change. I intend to find out if any of the drugs I take are produced by Glaxo, and if so will find a substitute. We have to stop supporting crooks!
